Ms Chau's ceramic works present the viewer with delicate vignettes of fleeting memory, gesture and form. The resulting pieces combine Storytelling, Myths, and their ability to connect us to each other through cultural and humanistic similarities. Joey Roth's Soundslike is an exhibition of ceramic speakers as interpreted by contemporary artists and designers. Debuting in New York at ICFF, Soundslike is a collaboration between designer Joey Roth and contemporary artists to create a unique series of works, each interpreting Mr Roth's creations through their own eyes. The result is transformation of functional design object into work of art. Included in the exhibition is new work by Texas based artists Carlos Rosales-Silva and sound installation by Justin Boyd.
